Starter Reel/Animation/Video Game Reel/Corporate/Audiobook Reel 

​

• RVL will provide a professional bespoke reel to the Client for a fee of £350 (Video Game/Animation/Corporate £400. Audiobook £300)  (inclusive of VAT).  This will include a 30 minute consultation, plus a 20 minute rehearsal followed by a 45 minute Recording Session booked at a time convenient for the client. But please be aware we only record weekday evenings and occasionally Saturday mornings.

• The reel will be directed by an experienced voice over practitioner and edited by our sound engineer in a studio agreed between RVL and the Client.

​

• The fee is paid over THREE stages (or can be paid upfront if the client prefers):

​

• An initial payment of £50 will be taken when booking via the RVL website, or on receipt of an invoice at least 48 hours before the  consultation.

​

• Upon agreeing a studio recording time, and prior to any scripts being sent to the Client, a £175 ( Video Game/Animation/Corporate £225. Audiobooks £125) non-refundable deposit is required. This must be paid within 7 days of receiving the invoice (or immediately if the studio date is in less than 7 days). Failure to pay within 7 days will mean the date will be released. The studio booking cannot be guaranteed until this deposit has been paid.

• The final balance of £125 will be invoiced when the reel is ready. We will not release any demo reel without final payment. he final balance of £200 will be required at the start of the studio recording.

• We will provide a maximum of 4 scripts as agreed with the Client. With RVL’s guidance, the Client must provide an audiobook read if they wish to include this. On occasion, where an actor may require more coaching in the studio, we may need to reduce the number of tracks in order to maintain the quality of the reel.

• You will receive your Tracks as MP3’s and WAV files via email/Wetransfer.

​

• We endeavour to deliver your Tracks/Reel within two weeks of recording. In the unlikely event of unexpected delays we will fully communicate with you as to when to expect your reel. 

​

• We require the Client to send any edits or changes to the tracks in writing and will advise the Sound Engineer accordingly. We will endeavour to deliver amended tracks back to the Client within 7 days.

8 Track Reel

​

But please be aware we only record weekday evenings and occasionally Saturday mornings.

• The reel will be directed by an experienced voice over practitioner and edited by our sound engineer in a studio agreed between RVL and the Client.

• The fee is paid over THREE stages (or can be paid upfront if the client prefers):

​

• Upon agreeing a studio recording time, and prior to any scripts being sent to the Client, a £300 non-refundable deposit is required. This must be paid 7 days after receiving the invoice (or immediately if the studio date is in less than 7 days). Failure to pay will mean the date will be released. The studio booking cannot be guaranteed until this deposit has been paid.

• The final balance of £200 will be invoiced when the reel is ready. We will not release any demo reel without final payment. h

• We will provide 7 scripts (8 if a client is not recording a book read or animation track) and aim to record all 8 within a 90 minute studio session. On occasion, where an actor may require more coaching in the studio, we may need to reduce the number of tracks in order to maintain the quality of the reel.

• With RVL’s guidance, the Client is required to provide their own text for a Book Read.

​

• With RVL’s guidance, the Client is required to provide their own scripts for an animation track.

​

 

Coaching sessions & Packages

• Coaching is charged at £75 an hour for Equity Members and £95 for non-Equity. If three sessions are booked and paid in advance we offer a 10% discount, charging £202.50/256.50. If five sessions are booked and paid in advance we offer a 15% discount, charging £318.75/£403.75 This is in addition to any reel costs. 

​

• If a Client books three or more coaching sessions and decides to have a reel made with RVL we will deduct £50 from the cost of the voice reel as a Consultation will not be required. Payment must be paid at least 72 hours ahead of the Coaching session (or at the session if agreed).

Workshops

​

Workshops and Masterclasses: The booking is non-refundable if you cancel with less than 48 hours notice. Cancellation less than 7 days prior to the  session will be charged at 50% of the fee unless we can fill your place. 

We have the right to cancel workshops at any time.  The client will have the choice of a full refund or a place on another workshop(s) of the same value.

 

Cancellation policy for all services

• We understand actors’ lives are varied and flexible, jobs come up and auditions can be very last minute. We will always do our upmost to reschedule the session if necessary, however we ask for as much notice as possible.

• For Script consultations and Coaching sessions we require 24 hours notice for cancellation. Where less notice is given the Client will be charged a £25 cancellation fee. ​

• ​We reserve the right to cancel/reschedule your reel. Either a full refund will be offered or we will work with you to find another date suitable for you. 

• We have a 72 hour cancellation period for studio recordings. If you cancel within this time you will forfeit your £250 deposit. 

• Due to illness we reserve the right to substitute in an alternative director. If the Client does not agree to this then an alternative recording date will be offered.
